Catching up on my dose of photography

Monday, March 8, 2010

One of the things I truly miss, among many others such as good Korean food, soccer seasons, playing piano 3 am in the morning when I'm stressed (don't worry, it's electronic where use of headphone is capable), and my family, I long for when I was able to walk around everywhere with borrowed camera from yearbook, taking pictures everywhere. And I really mean everywhere. Of course in school, on the streets, in the car, to more dangerous places like the middle of the road while crossing it, or 2 am out, alone.

The recent history making 3 day snow days gave me a chance to go out and satisfy my craving for photography.
Also, all the snow allowed for some incredible shots :D
I loved how we decided to go out at 3 am to take pictures and here are my two favorites:

Photography depends a lot on the lighting. The mood, color, sharpness, clarity and texture all seems different under various type of lights. My personal favorite is the sunlight on crispy day, which was exactly how it was the day after, which meant more pictures!

Yay for white, fluffy snow!
Only if it stays that way...
